Karl A. Holzinger, MD is a graduate of Rutgers College, New Brunswick, NJ. He is a graduate of New York University Medical School, New York, NY. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA. He served in the Navy as Chief of the Ophthalmology Department of Great Lakes Naval Hospital, Assistant Chief of Ophthalmology Services at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI and then ended his Naval career as Chief of Ophthalmology Services at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI.
Dr. Holzinger has lectured in many countries as well as been on many medical missionary trips. As a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, Dr. Hozinger's special areas of expertise include Premium Cataract, Glaucoma, as well as providing diagnosis and treatments of all types of visual problems.
Dr. Holzinger is active in many professional organizations and memberships.
