Dr. Lisa L. Sachdev is an osteopathic physician who is board certified in Family Medicine. She is a member of the Anti-Aging Academy of Medicine (A4M), the Pan American Allergy Society and the Attention Deficit Disorders Association. She has received training from Defeat Autism Now (DAN) and earned certification as a screener for Irlen Syndrome. In 2015 she spent six months working alongside physicians who are experts in the diagnosis and management of prediabetes. She has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of children and adults with ADHD. She currently holds a contract with the Pasadena Independent School District to provide evaluation of students who are referred by their school psychologists.
She has been practicing medicine since 1996. She was employed by Deer Park Family Clinic from 1999-2003. She begin her private practice in Pasadena in 2003. In December of 2015 she moved her practice to Nassau Bay.
She focuses on preventative medicine, emphasizing nutrition and wellness. She believes that prescription medication should not be the only treatment modality utilized by physicians. She does not believe in a "one size fits all" approach to healthcare. She keeps her patient volume low to allow adequate time to assess each individual.
Dr. Sachdev and her husband are both primary care physicians practicing in the Bay Area. They have four children between the ages of 10 and 20 years old. She enjoys going to movies and the theater with her family.
