Dr. Ping Li

Dr. Ping Li works on patent prosecution and opposition proceedings and provides opinions on freedom-to-operate issues. She is also involved in patent litigation. Ping joined Jones Day in May 2008, and her field of work includes diverse aspects of chemistry, life sciences, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.

Ping's technical experience is in the chemistry, biochemistry, and biophysics fields. Her undergraduate studies were concentrated on synthetic chemistry and her doctorate program was focused on biopolymer chemistry and biophysics, including protein and RNA biochemistry and biomolecular NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) spectroscopy.
