Dr. Rajeev Joshi joined North Texas Heart Center and has been practicing in Dallas since August 2013. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases and Advanced Cardiac Imaging at St. Luke's – Roosevelt Hospital in New York as part of the Columbia University System. His Advanced Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology training was completed at the University of California in San Diego.
Dr. Joshi is proficient in all aspects of Electrophysiology including ablations for arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia as well as ventricular tachycardia. In addition he implants pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices, as well as, performs laser lead extractions. He is one of the first and few in Dallas to perform the Watchman left atrial appendage occlusion device for stroke prevention.
Dr. Joshi practices, and is board certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is also board certified in Cardiology, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology.
