Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Dr. Newman did his undergraduate work at UCLA and earned his medical degree from USC. During the course of his career, Dr. Newman has enjoyed working with diverse ethnic and multicultural populations in a variety of settings, including emergency rooms, urgent care centers, private practice and even home care. In addition to serving his patients in California, he has cared for Native American Navajo families in New Mexico and he practiced for several years in Israel.
Dr. Newman believes being a good listener and communicator are the keys to working with patients of all ages. His goal is to work together with his patients and help them achieve and maintain their best possible health outcomes.
When not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. Dr. Newman also enjoys wood working, inventing, growing orchids, and has an avid interest in computers & electronics.
