Dr. Tetiana Kharkovets

Dr. Tetiana Kharkovets works in the fields of patent prosecution, opposition and appeal proceedings, patent invalidation, and patent litigation, and she is experienced in patent prosecution before the Russian (Rospatent) and Eurasian (EAPO) patent offices.

Tetiana has worked in the field of intellectual property since 2004. Her technical experience is in life sciences, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals and includes molecular biology, biochemistry, transgenic technology, and physiology. Tetiana's diploma thesis was focused on the field of signal transduction and apoptosis, and she obtained her Ph.D. under Professor Dr. Thomas Jentsch at the Center for Molecular Neurobiology in Hamburg. As part of her postdoctoral research position, she characterized novel genes involved in hearing and studied molecular mechanisms of inherited diseases using transgenic technology. Tetiana also has authored and coauthored several peer-reviewed publications. [1]
