Welcome to Eden's Yard; a quirky, Camino inspired backpackers hostel just a 15 minute woodland walk from the internationally acclaimed Eden Project. Rest or explore from this fully re-imagined and re-furbished Stable Yard. We offer two comfortable shared dorms, cosy communal lounge with microwave, kettle and toaster and further self-catering facilities in a well equipped Courtyard Kitchen. Electric and hot water is powered whenever possible by our solar panels.
Find us in leafy Garka hamlet, 4k from bustling St Austell and 15 minute woodland walk from Eden. The hostel is 2 miles from the Northwest Coast Path at Carlyon Bay, neighbour of the enigmatic harbour villages of Charlestown and Par. The ancient Saints way passes within two miles at Priddeaux woods. National Cycle route 3 passes our gate to intersect with the Eden branch of Route 2 before heading across country to Penzance (and Lands End). Eden’s Yard is amid the China Clay Trails that rapidly reveal a unique land rich in industrial heritage and the regeneration of natural systems.
Wifi, fresh bedding and a simple toasty breakfast with tea and coffee are all included. Full breakfast and evening meals are available on request, it is our pleasure to accommodate most special dietary requirements, do just let us know on arrival.
