Edward Hartline

Edward is a 20 year old singer/songwriter who has been performing professionally for 6 years.

2 singles from his 2009 EP 'Lagniappe' reached #2 on the FearlessRadio.com (Chicago) charts. His debut CD, 'Candy for Bread Map' released in 2011, and the first single, 'You're to Blame', went to #1. MusicReviewUnsigned.com gave 'Candy for Bread Map' five stars.

'You're to Blame' was included on Independent Music News' Folk Artists 2012 compilation CD, and IndieMusicReviewer listed him in their top 75 indie acoustic artists not to be missed.

He released 2 more EPs in 2013, 'hartline.' and 'Lost'.

He played Callow's showcase at SXSW 2014, as well as 2 Sofar Sounds secret shows, and won WorkPlay's Singer/Songwriter competition in Birmingham, AL. He crowdfunded a home studio where he recorded his second CD, 'Human Nature'. He won the Emerging Talent Showcase at Blast on the Bay 2015.

He has performed with Von Grey, Bobby Long, Jessica Meuse, Shannon LaBrie, Hope Cassity, and many others. His sound has been compared to Ray LaMontagne and James Taylor.
