Elizabeth A. Morris

Ms. Morris is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. Ms. Morris is a member of the Litigation & Trial and Environmental, Land & Resources Departments. She represents clients in complex environmental, toxic tort and commercial litigations.

Ms. Morris is an active member of the firm’s pro bono program. She has litigated a constitutional torts claim on behalf of a prison inmate, successfully represented a single mother in a family court action seeking recovery of child support and modification of visitation, and obtained employment authorization, citizenship and asylum for immigrants.

Ms. Morris is admitted to practice in the states of New York and Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York. Ms. Morris previously served as a member and associate editor of the Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal at Fordham University, where she graduated Order of the Coif. Ms. Morris also has a graduate degree in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Morris worked in higher education at a variety of institutions, including Fordham University and New York University.
