Elizabeth Smith

Elizabeth Smith is a general commercial litigator with experience in complex domestic and multijurisdictional disputes resolved by litigation, arbitration, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Her experience has been focused on advising on matters relating to contract and joint venture disputes, torts, fraud, and breach of duty claims.

Elizabeth's recent experience includes advising Langbar International Limited, the AIM-listed company wrongly believed to have assets in excess of $600 million, on recovery proceedings arising out of the fraud perpetrated on it and working as part of a team advising a multinational-listed corporation on complex worldwide injunctive relief. More recently, she advised Texas Keystone in connection with its antisuit injunction against Excalibur Ventures restraining a New York ICC arbitration and parallel English Commercial Court proceedings concerning oil exploration in Iraqi Kurdistan.
