Eric C. Greig is an associate in the Houston office of Latham & Watkins. He focuses his practice on healthcare regulatory, litigation and transactional matters involving the medical device, pharmaceutical, tobacco and healthcare provider industries.
Mr. Greig has experience with a variety of issues involving the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the US Food and Drug Administration, including third-party reimbursement strategies for new and existing technologies; Medicare and Medicaid coverage, payment and compliance; clinical testing; product promotion and labeling; and information privacy and security.
Mr. Greig co-authored a chapter in the ABA Health Law Section’s Second Edition of E-Health, Privacy and Security Law related to the FDA regulation of electronic health records, mobile medical devices and telemedicine. Additionally, he co-authored a chapter related to Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement for off-label uses of drugs and devices in the book Off-Label Communications: A Guide to Sales & Marketing Compliance, published by the Food and Drug Law Institute.
