Esha Mankodi's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. She has experience with all aspects of litigation, including offensive and defensive discovery, framing legal issues, preparing for depositions, and drafting dispositive motions. Esha's past experience includes representing clients in connection with issues relating to the False Claims Act (FCA), as well as defending corporations facing claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). She has advised construction clients in drafting contract documents and arbitrated an international animal feed company's multimillion dollar claims against the engineer of defective equipment supplied to a new processing facility. Esha also has experience litigating class action issues.Esha maintains an active pro bono practice. Her pro bono experience includes litigating and arguing a Freedom of Information Act appeal in the District Court for the District of Columbia and assisting with a direct criminal appeal in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
