Hailing from Northwestern Pennsylvania, Falling Hollywood plays an “infectious, punky brand of Rust Belt folk-rock,” with distinct harmonies and unrestrained performance that produces a new sound and style that's unmistakably their own. Showcasing lyrics and melodies that echo inside listeners, and deep rooted rock-n-roll riffs that move the room, Falling Hollywood has been tearing up stages in the Northeast with its sights on the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.
At Falling Hollywood’s core, singers/guitarists Matt Flowers and Nick Taylor bring powerful harmonies and heartfelt lyrics reminiscent of classic folk-singers. Swap out an acoustic for an electric, add in bassist Bill Frackowiak and drummer Brad Triana, and their sound swells into punchy, energetic rock. As a result, the band can rouse festival goers into a foot-stomping raucous, or shake the walls of the grittiest rock clubs. Since the 2012 release oftheir debut album “Set the Table,” and 2014's highly regarded follow up, “Heavy Weather,” Falling Hollywood’s momentum has them on track to be a break-out artist on a national scale.
