Dr. Felix Dörfelt is an associate in the Hamburg office of Latham & Watkins. He practices in the Litigation & Trial Department and is a member of the firm’s International Arbitration and Public International Law Practices.
He focuses his practice on international arbitration and public international law. He also practices commercial arbitration and general litigation in German courts.
Mr. Dörfelt studied law in Hamburg and Wellington with a focus on private international law, international litigation and dispute resolution. During his LL.M. studies as a Fulbright Scholar at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution Pepperdine University School of Law, Mr. Dörfelt focused on international commercial arbitration, investor-state disputes and mediation.
He has been actively involved in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot both as an arbitrator and as a coach. He is a member of the DIS40 and the ICDR Young and International.
