Nashville band Friendship Commanders prefer to get to the point when it comes to making music. Formed in early 2013, the combined sum of its members' influences -which range all the way from Heavy Metal to R&B- equals a simple and energetic form of modern Punk/Hard Rock, which can be heard on their June 2013 EP release, Amos. Comprised of three members: Nashville natives Cody McCall and Jerry Roe, and Miami transplant by-way-of New York City B. Arson, present a melody-heavy, yet aggressive form of rock-n’-roll that harkens back the grunge and post-punk era of the early 90’s, while also drawing influence from punk greats such as The Descendents and classic metal pioneers Iron Maiden. Hard at work work writing and recording new material, the band is moving towards an early 2015 release for its first full-length record. [+]
