Fyre & Reign

Fyre & Reign blends Roots Rock and Americana with subtle hints of funk, jazz, soul, folk, country and world music. The band has been compared to Fleetwood Mac, Alabama Shakes, The Cranberries, and Edie Brickell and The New Bohemians with a little bit of Tom Waits thrown in for good measure.

Fyre & Reign came to life as a recording project for American singer/songwriter Mikael Lewis and his daughter, Irish singer/songwriter, Hannah Butterfield. The duo garnered interest from Mikael's longtime friend-drummer and producer Eric Watson. Hannah soon joined Eric and Mikael and the band was born. Of that meeting Mikael states: "At our first rehearsal it became very apparent that something magical was happening". And so in October 2014 Mikael and Hannah packed up the Uhaul and made the move to permanently join Eric in Utah. Bassist and producer Josh Hone was soon recruited and the recording of the debut album commenced.

Fyre & Reign's debut album is slated for release at the end of June 2015. In April they will release "Lipstick Stain", the first single from the album. The band is currently playing and booking shows across the Rocky Mountain region. They will be launching the album at the world famous Kulak's Woodshed in Hollywood, CA before kicking off a month long UK/Ireland tour in July 2015. [+]
