Gemma Formby

Gemma Formby practices corporate law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and private equity across a range of domestic and cross-border matters. She has acted for a variety of corporate clients, private equity investors, and management teams on transactions including acquisitions and disposals, reorganizations, joint ventures, and investments. She also advises on general corporate issues.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2014, Gemma worked in the London office of a leading international law firm, where she was involved in corporate transactions in North America, Russia, Kazakhstan, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and represented state-owned enterprises, private equity clients, financial institutions, and international technology companies.
