Girlz in Black Hats

Girlz in Black Hats is a female fronted country act originating from Southwestern PA. The “girlz” are now made up of Hayley Prosser, 21, and Sara Zebley, 24. Originally formed as a band of siblings and friends back in 2004 for a high school talent show, GBH has since gone through many changes. In 2011, Hayley joined Sara in the group as the new lead vocalist. It is often said that their voices are meant to be together! They are also backed by three talented guys on lead guitar, bass, and drums.
These small town ladies are passionate about country music and telling their stories through song. Together, they have penned over 70 original songs, often taking on topics of love, heartache, and facing difficult choices as young adults.
Hayley and Sara are not only seasoned songwriters, but also experienced performers. Their live show is electric, showcasing strong harmonies, fast fiddling, feisty attitudes and a contagious feel-good energy!
Girlz in Black Hats are fearless, independent women who know what they want out of life and are not afraid to go out and grab it. They are edgy, original, & ready to take country music by storm- a definite “must-see!”
