Graham Beck Brut Rose Vintage 2010

Lovers of fine fizz with be tickled pink with this exceptional bubbly pretty and pink, but packing some serious Cap Classique pedigree, this ones a must to celebrate magical moments and toast special occasions. Crafted from 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay the Brut Rose Vintage was produced in our recently revamped Robertson Methode Cap Classique cellar from grapes sourced from our Firgrove farm (Pinot Noir) and our Robertson estate (Chardonnay). The two varietals each add their own special magic to the final blend Chardonnay for fruit and elegance and Pinot Noir for length of flavour and a touch of colour. During vinification we followed a unique approach (a first for South Africa), whereby the whole bunches, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, were jointly pressed as a blend, in the same press. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks the wine was bottled for secondary fermentation with a total of 36 months yeast contact before disgorgement. The delightful salmon pink colour perfectly complements the delicious strawberry fruit flavours. Savour the light yeasty aromas, good freshness on the nose and rich creamy complexity on the palate. Fine mousse and a great length of flavour round off this blushing stunner. [+]
