Grant G. Cohen

Grant Cohen is a corporate associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins.

Mr. Cohen's practice focuses on general corporate counseling, venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Cohen regularly represents emerging and established companies in a range of industries, including video games, digital media, e-commerce, consumer products and healthcare, as well as venture capital firms and other investors. Mr. Cohen also maintains an active pro bono practice.

Mr. Cohen received his law degree from UCLA School of Law, where he completed the Business Law Specialization and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he worked in the legal department of a Fortune 500 Company. He received his BA in Economics and Finance, magna cum laude, from Washington University in 2005. 

Prior to law school, Mr. Cohen worked on the investment team at a venture capital fund and startup incubator, where his responsibilities included researching, analyzing and modeling investment opportunities, as well as operational roles at portfolio companies. He started his career as an analyst at a boutique investment bank in Chicago, Illinois, advising privately held companies and private equity firms on mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions.
