Gregory M. Saiontz

Mr. Saiontz is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins. Mr. Saiontz’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.

He has significant experience in representing companies and private equity firms in corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and general company representation, in connection with leveraged buyouts and other investment transactions. Representative clients include The Carlyle Group, Onex Corporation, Charterhouse, GTCR and their portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Saiontz worked most recently as an investment analyst in the hedge fund industry in New York. He was previously an investment banking senior associate. Mr. Saiontz’s experience in the financial industry followed initial experience in the legal field. He spent three years as an associate in Latham’s Washington D.C. office and an additional three years at two other prominent international law firms.

Mr. Saiontz earned a joint degree, a JD from Stanford Law School and a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. While at law school, he served as the Managing Editor of the Stanford Journal of International Law.
