Haley McIntosh

Haley McIntosh's practice focuses on complex business, tort, and energy litigation. She has litigated cases before numerous state and federal courts and is experienced in arbitration and mediation. Haley represents electric power, natural gas, and telecommunications companies in regulatory matters, including safety and accident investigations, issues of data security and privacy, and rate cases. She also advises on issues related to the interconnection of generators to the electric grid, including renewable energy generators (solar and wind).

Haley has defended product liability cases, consumer class actions, and matters involving unfair competition laws (including California Bus. & Prof. Code § 17200). She has broad experience in developing and challenging expert witness opinion testimony, including involvement in several Daubert and state court proceedings involving expert admissibility issues. Prior to joining Jones Day, Haley served as science counsel in nationwide mass tort litigation involving welding products and represented a Chinese airline in a successful appeal involving forum non conveniens issues.
