Hayley A. Haldeman

Hayley Haldeman focuses her practice on civil litigation in federal and state courts, with an emphasis on product liability and complex commercial disputes. She has experience at the trial and appellate level with motions drafting, appellate briefing, national case management, and fact and expert witness preparation.

Currently, Hayley is part of a Jones Day team defending The Sherwin-Williams Company in nationwide litigation brought by local and state government entities and private plaintiffs. In this role, she has drafted appellate briefs, dispositive motions, and post-trial objections, and is handling each stage of a $1.15 billion dollar appeal. She represents a national credit reporting bureau in Fair Credit Reporting Act cases, for which she manages all aspects of pleadings and discovery. Her other experience includes litigation involving the False Claims Act, insurance coverage, and First Amendment law. [1]
