Heather Bromfield is an associate in the Silicon Valley office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department. Ms. Bromfield’s practice is centered on the representation of emerging and public companies in the technology sector, with a focus on technology transactions and outsourcing. She represents a number of companies in the software, Internet services, e-commerce and semiconductor industries. Ms. Bromfield routinely prepares and negotiates intellectual property licenses, supply and distribution agreements, outsourcing agreements and other commercial agreements. She also has experience representing technology companies in connection with corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings.
Ms. Bromfield received her JD from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2010, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. She also served as a senior notes and comments editor of the UC Davis Law Review and as a judicial extern to Judge Morrison C. England of the Eastern District of California. In 2006, she received her BA in Psychology, summa cum laude, from California State University, Sacramento.
