Hemlock Lane

"The Hemlock Lane sound is the kind of sharp alterna-pop that would draw masses at Coachella... it won’t be too long before we’re bragging to people that we knew them."
-The Register Guard

"A polished band with an exciting live show, Hemlock Lane adds edge to upbeat pop songs, forging an earnest 'progressive pop' sound."
- The News Review

Hemlock Lane's new single, "Halfway There," has been described "the kind of sharp indie that will would draw masses to Coachela." Inspired by bands from Daft Punk to the Beatles, Hemlock Lane writes driving pop songs in which bright synth tones balance fuzzed-out guitars, thoughtful songcraft provides substance to singalong melodies and the resilience of youth buoys the heft of impending adulthood. Similar in style to alt rock predecessors Walk the Moon or Young the Giant, Hemlock Lane writes danceable pop songs for the thinking person.

Having previously recorded with Stephan Hawkes and Larry Crane, Hemlock Lane's latest project is a collaboration with famed producer Mark Needham (The Killers, Walk the Moon, Imagine Dragons). "Halfway There," the band's first single in over a year, is a tribute to 3 years spent touring the west coast. [+]
