Hennessy Cognac 250 Collector Blend

A celebratory blend of cognac, marking 250 years of Hennessy’s excellence, international expansion and visionary passion, created by seventh generation master blender Yann Fillioux. Noted by some for its vitality, yet by others for its restraint, this subtle and expertly assembled blend of eaux-de-vie forms a Cognac of great distinction, full of life and intensity. The selected eaux-de-vie are characterized by their potential to achieve a fine balance as they mature over time. This Cognac completed its aging in ideal conditions: resting in 250 barrels of 250 liters each, carefully stored at ground level by the banks of the river Charente and handcrafted by the coopers at the La Sarrazine. This limited edition bottle is enclosed in a collector’s gift box specially designed to commemorate Hennessy’s 250th anniversary. Master Blender Yann Fillioux and his Tasting Committee drew from the full Maison Hennessy Reserve to select eaux-de-vie of subtle differing characteristics, notably those that exhibit the lightest wood influence. Some are more dynamic, others more understated, but the individual character of each enhances the overall balance of the blend while also adding depth and elegance. This expertly assembled blend forms a cognac of great distinction, full of life and intensity, with nuances of bitter orange, liquorice, dried peppermint leaf and saffron. [+]
