Jia Jia Huang is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Corporate Department, where she practices in the areas of intellectual property, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. In the area of intellectual property, Ms. Huang’s practice focuses on media, entertainment, sports, high tech, life sciences and emerging technology matters and general corporate representation of clients in such industries. Ms. Huang has experience with complex intellectual property, technology and media transactions, including cross-border transactions featuring the acquisition, sale and licensing of intellectual property and the technology aspects of commercial lending, mergers, acquisitions and capital markets transactions. Ms. Huang’s corporate finance experience includes representing underwriters and issuers on both public and private debt and equity offerings.
Ms. Huang is actively involved with the firm’s pro bono practice, where she works on matters involving immigration, foster care and adoptions. In addition, she works with nonprofit organizations on general corporate and intellectual property matters.
While at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Ms. Huang was a senior editor on the Journal of Business Law.
