In The Car

In The Car is made up of two skinny siblings from Oregon creating foot stomping renditions of your favorite indie, pop, and folk songs. Sam Lawson had been sequestered in Alaska working as a nurse and Ian Lawson was losing his soul to an engineering career. They have now reunited for an epic sibling tour…in the car. Trucking along the west coast this spring they will cover a handful of bands and artists including The Avett Brother's, Elliott Smith, The Head and the Heart, Blind Pilot, and even a little Beyonce. With an old guitar from their dad and harmonies only siblings could produce, these two are a pleasure to listen to (and easy on the eyes). Many people, especially their mom, say that they enjoy In the Car’s versions way more than the originals. They fit in best at a neighborhood bar, friendly café, or a favorite local venue. Though a few originals are mixed in, most of the set will be recognizable songs that we all love, and love to hear done well.

Please don’t hesitate to contact In the Car, they are very kind and clever conversationalists.
