Israel García

Israel García has experience in the analysis, determination, processing, and obtaining of real estate licenses, permits at all levels of government, and environmental audit processes. He has participated in obtaining civil protection approvals as well as environmental impact, land use, construction, and operation licenses for distribution centers and service providers. He also has experience in licensing and regulatory compliance as well as advising on obtaining licenses and registries in the Mexican Ministry of Defense and the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risk.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2013, Israel was an attorney at an environmental law firm in Mexico where he participated in environmental audit processes and the analysis of environmental obligations. He also served as an attorney at the Dirección de Obras Públicas (Office of Public Infrastructure), where he worked at the municipal level on inspections, internal audits, and administrative litigation.
