J. Jason Williams

Jason Williams practices patent, trademark, and trade secret law, with a primary focus on litigation. His experience includes patent litigation in federal district courts, the PTAB, and the International Trade Commission (ITC) on a wide range of technologies, including wireless and satellite telecommunications, industrial and commercial products, software, security systems, pharmaceuticals, and business methods. He also has extensive experience in trademark, false advertising, and unfair competition litigation in federal district courts, as well as self-regulatory proceedings before the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus (NAD).

Jason's experience covers all stages of patent and trademark litigation, including pleading, discovery, motion practice, Markman, settlement negotiation, trial preparation, and trial. His experience also includes noninfringement analyses, re-examinations and inter partes review of patents (IPR), and counseling clients regarding patent, trademark, and copyright protection and enforcement.
