J Ludlow 2008 Red Blend Jane

J Ludlow’s 2008 ‘Jane’ Red Blend is comprised of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, both varietals produced from the prestigious Camp 4 Vineyard in Santa Barbara County’s Santa Ynez Valley. Here, at the eastern end of the Valley, the warmer climate and fine soils yield very high quality Bordeaux grapes. J Ludlow’s 2008 Jane shows the classic ripe aromas of Merlot, combined with notes of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and hints of oak. The flavors mirror these aromas on a rich, well-balanced palate with nicely structured tannins, round natural acidity, and a full finish. [+]
