J. Michael Chambers, a partner in the Houston office, focuses his practice on leveraged finance and other debt and equity capital markets transactions. Mr. Chambers has particular expertise in public and private high yield bond offerings, credit facilities, including term loan facilities and reserve based revolving credit facilities, initial public offerings and public and private equity offerings. Mr. Chambers' representations include underwriters, lenders and financial institutions, as well as issuers and borrowers.
Mr. Chambers has substantial transactional experience involving participants in the oil and gas industry including exploration and production companies, midstream companies, oilfield service companies, and refining and specialty chemical production companies.
Mr. Chambers is recognized in the Debt & Equity chapter of The International Who's Who of Capital Markets Lawyers 2013, by The Legal 500 US 2013 for Capital Markets: debt offerings and high yield debt offerings, and as a leading lawyer in the practice of Capital Markets: Debt & Equity by Chambers USA 2013-2014.
