Jaime D. Choi Ph.D.

Jaime Choi's practice focuses on intellectual property law in a wide variety of complex technologies. With over 11 years of experience, her practice includes developing patent portfolio strategy, U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, due diligence investigations, patent and trade secret litigation, validity analysis, infringement analysis, freedom-to-operate analysis, and restoration of priority.

Jaime's representative work includes developing the patent portfolios of major defense contractors in technologies such as advanced materials, microfluidics, photonics, advanced telecommunications, interference suppression, optical and electrical signal processing, satellite communications, atomic clocks, and nuclear materials processing. Additionally, Jaime has significant experience in pursuing patent protection for nanotechnology, genetic sequencing, green technologies, thermoelectric materials, acoustics, designs, and complex algorithms, e.g., for analyzing genetic data or clinical data, encrypting data, machine learning, or simulating organisms in silico.
