Jamey King Band

The small rural town of Cross City FL, is where Jamey King was born and raised. At the age of 13, King felt the spotlight shining on him as he started his career singing at local talent shows and gatherings. As King reached his early teens, he found much love for the outdoors and sports but his passion for music was much greater. By the time King reached high school, he knew his calling was to sing and perform on stage. After King graduated high school, he found himself playing in live bands at small local clubs...

While earning his degree at Florida Gateway College and the College of Central Florida, King met Easton Corbin (Universal Nashville), Brandon McFarlan and Kevin Stephens who would all later start a band known as Southtown.. The guys found themselves playing around the state of Florida, forming a fan base that would long live on after the name was gone. As the fan base got bigger, the talent got stronger, and King dreamed of some day making it to Music City, Nashville Tn.

King's hard work continued to pay off when he met Stephen Fremen and Ryan Fulford. They began to build off of King's current fan base and formed one of Florida's top country cover bands. Eventually making the addition of Robbie Vanosdol former lead guitarist for "Son of a Bad Man" (Univeral Republic Records) and Jordan Davis from the same band. The band known as "Steel Bridge" was born and would soon start the wheels in motion to King's dreams of moving to Nashville... 5 years worth of hard work brought this Florida Native to the peak of his music career and in August of 2013 King announced his decision to leave his current career as a Deputy Sheriff and his band "Steel Bridge" to pursue his music career in Nashville. King and Vanosdol both moved to Nashville with the same strong Florida fan base supporting them all the way. Since moving to Nashville in late 2013, King and Vanosdol have joined forces with Ryan Depaolo and Ryan Kienle of Epitaph Records band "Matchbook Romance," as well as Tennessee Native and working musician Taylor Chambliss to form their original band "Memphis Belle" who will be releasing their single "Whiskey Kisses" in May 2014. King and the same guys from "Memphis Belle" are looking forward to a brand new start for 2013-2014 as they take their career to a whole new level.
