Janice Wang is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Litigation & Trial Department. Ms. Wang’s practice focuses primarily on white collar criminal defense, government and internal investigations, and complex commercial litigation.
Ms. Wang has experience conducting domestic and international internal investigations involving potential violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act (FCPA), False Claims Act (FCA), Anti-Kickback Act (AKA), and other criminal laws and regulations. She has advised clients regarding voluntary disclosures, written submissions to government agencies and responses to government subpoenas. Ms. Wang has also counseled international corporate clients on the development and maintenance of internal compliance policies. She has represented corporate clients and individuals before various federal agencies and in lawsuits brought in federal and state court, including class actions, False Claims Act matters and contract disputes. In addition to her practice in the Litigation & Trial Department, Ms. Wang has experience advising clients in connection with complex corporate transactions.
Ms. Wang maintains an active pro bono practice and currently serves as a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee.
