Jeffrey Moran has focused on secured lending for more than 25 years and his practice focuses primarily on the representation of lenders in the structuring and origination of secured financing transactions, including:
- Acquisition financing
- Second lien and mezzanine financing
- Debtor-in-possession financing
- Working capital financing
- Asset-based financing
- Project financing
Mr. Moran also has extensive experience representing lenders and borrowers in a wide variety of debt restructuring, workout and bankruptcy related transactions. Mr. Moran also has significant experience in transactions involving the securitization of various types of financial assets.
Mr. Moran served for more than 10 years on the firm's Finance Committee and he serves on the firm's Global Opinions and Confirmations Committee and the Finance Opinions and Confirmations Committee. In addition, Mr. Moran is the former Co-chair of the Chicago Finance Department. While in law school, Mr. Moran served on the senior editorial board of The Michigan Law Review.
