Jeffrey J. Jones

Jeff Jones has represented clients in class actions, multijurisdictional matters, and complex litigation in more than 35 states throughout the U.S. He has served as national or regional coordinating counsel in matters involving securities claims, alleged product failures, franchise and distribution litigation, commercial disputes, and class actions filed against many of Jones Day's clients, including R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, General Motors, Lowe's, and Toyota, among others. He has tried more than 35 cases to courts, juries, arbitration panels, administrative law judges, and administrative boards in different jurisdictions and forums throughout the U.S. and has handled appellate proceedings through every level of state and federal courts.

Jeff also has coordinated numerous internal company investigations for clients of the Firm, including investigations related to accounting matters, revenue recognition, and FCPA and anticorruption issues, and assisted with training and compliance efforts arising out of these investigations. [1]
