Jenny Plagman's practice focuses on advising and representing private employers in a range of labor and employment matters. She represents clients in wage and hour disputes arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act and in discrimination disputes arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and various other federal and state laws. In addition, Jenny counsels clients on employment-related matters, including compensation practices, worker classification, and state law compliance.In the past year, Jenny has taken a single-plaintiff discrimination case from start to finish at a four-day arbitration hearing, where she not only managed the entire case, but also conducted a direct examination of a key witness. She also has assisted in and counseled clients on internal investigations and has independently conducted a wage and hour audit for a key firm client. In addition, Jenny has provided key assistance in defending large collective actions and in defending clients from complaints issued by the NLRB.
