Singer and songwriter Jeremy Grinacoff is currently recording his first EP, featuring all original compositions. The first single, "Sound With This Thing" was released on December 10, 2012.
Jeremy was born on July 13, 1988 and raised in Long Island, New York. As a child, Jeremy was involved in sports but that never really grabbed his interest as much as music. For his 13th birthday, Jeremy got an electric guitar. Though he studied for years, the creative, expressive potential of the guitar interested Jeremy more. "I was always interested in the mystery of music and the guitar and what it had to offer, a relationship."
Jeremy was influenced by his father's music library, which consisted of The Allman Brothers Band, The Doors, Eric Clapton, and Bruce Springsteen among others. His interests eventually turned toward the blues and Jeremy started playing along with B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, and Stevie Ray Vaughan records.
In the summer of 2007, Jeremy had a near death experience that changed his life forever, a car accident. Seeing his life before his eyes made Jeremy think of everything he had done and everything he still wanted to do at the same time. "After that I stopped taking life for granted and realized, you only live once."
