Jerry Ling handles investigations involving corruption, intellectual property theft, conflicts of interest, and other forms of employee misconduct for clients operating throughout China and Asia. He recently assisted several U.S.-listed companies in responding to government inquiries into FCPA violations in China and Southeast Asia and led compliance risk assessments for multinationals with significant operations in the Asia-Pacific region. He provides compliance training for Asia-Pacific leadership and advises companies on tailoring their compliance programs and controls to respond to local business practices and risks.

Jerry also represents clients inside and outside of China in litigation and arbitration of complex commercial disputes, trade secret disputes, and other intellectual property matters. He has recently represented a global private equity fund in arbitration involving its breach of contract claims, assisted a major telecom manufacturer's defense against patent infringement lawsuits filed in China, and assisted a U.S. retailer in bringing trade secret claims against a business partner in actions across the Asia-Pacific region.
