Johanna Spellman

Johanna Spellman is a member of the Litigation & Trial Department. Since joining Latham & Watkins in 2008, Ms. Spellman has worked on a variety of corporate internal investigations as well as complex litigation matters in state and federal court. She has investigated potential violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and various trade sanctions laws. In addition, she has litigated matters concerning toxic torts, product liability, environmental matters and other complex commercial matters.

Before joining Latham, Ms. Spellman served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Richard D. Cudahy of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

While attending Yale Law School, Ms. Spellman was a member of the Yale Law Journal and an executive editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation.
