John K. Harrison is an associate in the Silicon Valley office of Latham & Watkins, where he is a member of the firm's Corporate Department.
Mr. Harrison’s practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, where he represents publicly traded and privately held companies in strategic corporate transactions and private equity firms and their portfolio companies in connection with public and private mergers, acquisitions and dispositions and general corporate transactional matters.
Mr. Harrison’s general corporate practice also includes representing public companies, emerging growth companies, venture capital firms and strategic investors in connection with:
- Corporate governance issues
- Debt and equity financings
- Securities law matters
- Intellectual property protection
- Employee incentive plan issues
Mr. Harrison graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, he completed an internship with the Pittsburgh Pirates Major League Baseball Club, where he worked with the team’s general counsel and baseball operations department. While in law school, Mr. Harrison also completed internships with the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia and with Judge Roger W. Titus at the US District Court for the District of Maryland.
