John Scott

Canadian defenceman and left winger who has bounced around the NHL with teams like the Minnesota Wild, Chicago Blackhawks and San Jose sharks since entering the league in 2008. He has been frequently suspended during his time in the NHL, serving multi-game suspensions for on-ice altercations with players like Loui Eriksson and Tim Jackman. He grew up in St. Catharines, Ontario. He played four years of college hockey at Michigan Tech, where he racked up 347 penalty minutes. After an online campaign, he was voted captain of the Pacific Division team for the 2016 NHL All-Star Game despite his journeyman status in the league. He went on to score two goals in the game and win the All-Star Game MVP award. He married a woman named Danielle in 2008.
