Joshua W. Marnitz is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Latham & Watkins where he is a member of the Environment, Land & Resources Department. He is also a member of Latham's Cleantech, Energy - Oil & Gas, Energy - Power, and Mining & Metals industry groups.
Mr. Marnitz’s practice focuses on complex environmental regulatory issues, litigation, and transactional support, and his experience includes matters involving the National Environmental Policy Act, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Endangered Species Act. Mr. Marnitz also has experience with resource development, including oil and gas development as well as renewable energy and energy infrastructure projects, and with providing environmental transactional support for financing, project development, and securities offerings.
Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Marnitz was a Law Fellow at the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Washington, D.C. While in law school, Mr. Marnitz was a member of the Journal of Law and Politics and the Virginia Environmental Law Forum.
