Julia E. McEvoy

Julie McEvoy has more than 20 years experience — in the private sector and as a senior United States Department of Justice official — in a wide range of antitrust and litigation matters.

Julie has successfully defended clients against civil antitrust claims, including cases accusing companies of misusing intellectual property, licensing agreements, and regulatory processes to extend product monopolies. In one such case she obtained a complete defense verdict for sanofi-aventis on charges it filed a sham "citizen petition" with the Food and Drug Administration to suppress generic competition for a brand name drug.
