Kaja Schmitt's practice focuses on labor and employment law. She advises employers on individual and collective labor law issues. She also participates in the due diligence process of M&A transactions as they relate to labor and employment.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Kaja worked as a lawyer in the human resources department of a U.S. bank for several years. Before that she worked for a chamber of tax consultants where she advised members on tax consultants' professional law. [1]
