Karen Hodys is a member of the firm’s Private Equity and Emerging Companies practice groups. She has a transactional practice focused on advising companies and leading institutional investors in connection with:
- Early and late-stage private equity investments
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Corporate restructuring transactions
- Secondary transactions
She also represents entrepreneurs and emerging companies from entity formation through exit transaction advising on:
- General commercial and corporate matters
Ms. Hodys has significant experience representing the Special Situations Group of Goldman Sachs in growth capital investments, restructurings and acquisition transactions and also managed deals in-house for Goldman Sachs while on secondment to the Merchant Banking Division in 2010. Previously, she was a business analyst in the Chicago office of a global management consulting firm where she advised companies across industry and geographic segments on growth and innovation strategies.
