Kate Watlington is an associate in the finance department of Latham & Watkins. Her practices covers a variety of transactional matters including project development and finance, leveraged and acquisition finance and capital markets transactions. Ms. Watlington also has experience advising on corporate matters including joint ventures and mergers & acquisitions.
Ms. Watlington has particular expertise advising sponsors, project companies and lenders on key project contracts including offtake arrangements, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts and operation and maintenance (O&M) agreements.
Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, Ms. Watlington was a finance associate at an international law firm, where she represented clients across the United States and Asia on project development and finance, bank and acquisition finance and capital markets transactions. Previously she also clerked for the Honorable Henry E. Hudson of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia.
