Katherine Schon Brockway is a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice. She has extensive experience managing electronic discovery, conducting infringement and invalidity analyses, drafting motions, pretrial discovery, depositions and case management support.
Ms. Brockway’s practice focuses primarily on intellectual property litigation including:
- Patent infringement (utility and design*)
- Trade secret misappropriation
- Patent license agreement and contract disputes
- Inventorship disputes*
Ms. Brockway received the 2012 Impact Award from the Chicago Foundation for Women (CFW) for her pro bono work in securing asylum for a sex trafficking survivor from the Democratic Republic of Congo in a groundbreaking decision by the immigration court.
