Kathleen Wells is a corporate partner in the Silicon Valley office and Co-chair of the Silicon Valley Corporate Department.
Ms. Wells has represented private and public companies across several industries, venture capital firms and investment banks. Her practice focuses on corporate and securities law, and her transactional experience includes numerous venture capital financings, public securities offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. Her general company representation includes assistance with company formation and startup matters, debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, advising boards of directors regarding corporate governance matters, employment matters, equity incentives, public company disclosure issues, and federal and state securities law compliance.
Ms. Wells is a member of the Advisory Board of the Silicon Valley Directors' Exchange (SVDX). She is the Silicon Valley office partner representative on the firm’s mentoring committee and has previously served on the firm’s recruiting committee.
Prior to attending law school, she was a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
